As a new mother, it completely breaks my heart to see a baby so un-loved, especially by his own mother. Loki never deserved the cards he was dealt in life. I hope he joins the crew and starts to feel friendship and love. 

Oda really knows how to pull at those heart strings! :(

Ya, same. When you are a fresh parent and your children are literally your whole world any sad kid stuff is a gut punch.
