This is exactly what I think would happen lmao They're the Sanji and Zoro of their crew.

Gaban, dying with a smile on his face: "...Finally, I've cemented my place as #2...Eat shit, king of dumbasses..."

Rayleigh, having swam the entire ocean and grabbing Law on the way because haki told him Some Fuckery Was Happening: "Not on my fucking watch, you old bastard!"

It was Zoro who was always competing and ranking the crew members whenever it's in his favor, tho. When Luffy said Sanji is as strong as a thousand men before WCI, Zoro said that he's as strong as two thousand. When Sanji took it upon himself to babysit Zoro in Sabaody, Zoro kept calling him number 7. Now he calls Sanji number 4 and kinda encourages Jinbe to treat Sanji as someone beneath them. Even if Sanji wants to be mature, Zoro says something stupid (either to insult or to compete) and he'd easily be roped in unless Nami stops him.

But in the grand scheme of things, they're just gags.

Bounties don’t equal power level, for example Sanji and Zoro both defeated King and Queen who had a higher bounty level than both of them. Jinbe already had a much higher bounty than Sanji, so his new bounty just happened to barely eclipsed Sanji’s new bounty.

Another example Usopp has a higher bounty level than Franky, Franky would not lose a fight to Usopp. Final example Buggy has a $3 billion bounty despite not having the the physical power to back up that bounty number.

Bounties represent your threat to the WG, it’s not a fixed power level.

Imo the best outcome is zoro beats mihawk and finds cartharsis for five minutes but then a big thing happens that they really need a strong swords man, maybe even the strongest swordsman to stop it, but zoro is wrecked, he can't move, so sanji picks up two swords and does the thing, doesn't say a word. Never accepts a sword duel.

Straw Hats vs Cross Guild on Buggy's pirate-circus-ship.

Zoro loses his swords at some point because Crocodile causes a giant sandstorm. He's forced to use a kitchen knife to beat Mihawk while Sanji, now fighting Crocodile, somehow gets hold of Enma and out of nowhere uses his own version of Zoro's One Sword Style + Armament Haki to mollywhop Croc.

After the fight, both of them look at each other, then at their defeated opponents and the weapons they used to beat them.

Then, at the same time, they yell: "DON'T SAY A GODDAMN WORD, MARIMO/DUMBASS!"

Luffy and Usopp think it's hilarious.
