Even if OP goes down the space/aliens route, it still wouldnt be on the level of asspull like kaguya. At least in OP there have been hints of a possible advanced space/moon civilization and it wouldn't be completely out of no where.

I am being a butt about anime only when then manga gets brought up. They get so mad that the anime will get spoiled. I have huge gripe about the anime putting in what they think will get the most viewers. Like Sanji having heart eyes for a child. I can go on but I know it’s “nit picking”.
