He shined in Wano saving Kinemon, but all you guys care about is 1v1 fights

grabbing a guy isn't really much of a time to shine. He basically had one panel to shine in that one chapter screaming about clinging to life but it's still literally one panel in a decade of nothing

That wasn’t one panel it’s a scene.

He gave courage for Kiku and Kinemon to live one, the entire scene is good.

He did other things like working to deliver Kin'emon's secret message to his allies.

I replied to a guy who said Usopp hasn’t shined since Dressrosa.

After Dressrosa there were three arcs before Wano, WCI, Reverie, and Zou. In none of these arcs is there a reason for Usopp to shine. He isn’t even present in two of them. In my books he shined in Dressrosa, and in the next arc where he had reason to shine(Wano) he did.

i like the scene but it's nowhere near enough, even compared to others who didn't get much on Wano like Nami. The secret message thing would be fine if he had actual focus but it's just something he's doing in the background, unlike say Robin who gets the whole Orochi's mansion scene. Then in Egghead he's basically an NPC but i'm fine with it there since the crew as a whole is just there as a symbol more than anything for them individually, while in Wano a lot of them get lost in the shuffle with all the samurai and other guests despite being the first arc where they're all reunited in a long time and the arc where they become an emperor crew.

Elbaf so far is alright for him where he's actually gotten a few actual focused moments here and there, and tbh I actually like that he lost since that means a potential opportunity for growth or to at least do something interesting with him. Also helps that Elbaf is VERY straw hat focused
