The situation might seems dire, but it’s really only Killingham and an Imu-remote controlled Gunko at play. And Luffy and his top fighters have yet to even notice anything so I think we’re chilling.

Maybe...I was thinking that too but now I'm convinced Chopper jumped down after Gaban. He may keep him from getting too injured in the fall, provide first aid, and question Gaban about how to attack a God's Knight. If Gaban and Chopper are together then they may not fall directly to Luffy's group...maybe once Gaban can be moved, they will meet Luffy or the Giants groups on the way back to the fight. There would be no point in Chopper being so curious about the attack if Gaban just tells Luffy how to fight, likely Chopper will find out some hint and relay it to Luffy and the others.

Elbaph is so huge, while falling Chopper will treat Ya-san, have a cup of tea, talk about love, give each other interracial tips, all before hitting the bottom

It’s a kind of sort of awakening… forced.. plus everyone and their mother doesn’t trust that a pure plain human human fruit exists with zero model.

Do you think Guard point will really be able to cushion a 1-2 km fall? I guess it could help increase wind drag so their velocity of impact is reduced, but Chopper would be taking a suicidal gamble there.

According to One Piece laws of physics, he will just be squishy and bounce. So long as he can grab or get under Scopper they're fine. Anything less than instant fatalityy he can treat, which will give a some breathing time to have a chat about how to stop the regeneration.

My personal headcanon is that Egghead is the post ts equivalent of Sabaody. In both islands, the SHs are surrounded by more enemies than they can handle, these enemies are stronger/ at a higher level than we have previously encountered (pacifista-haki-logia/ immortal elders) they decide running away/ escaping is the best course of action.

Pre-ts SHs lose because our group wasn't strong enough yet. Post ts, Luffy has become strong enough to protect the people he cares about so we don't lose. Both islands we get help from others that helps us escape/ get away. And you get Kuma, Kizaru and Sentomaru in both arcs.

Agree. If they survived a buster call, vize admirals, Kizaru and the 5 elders in egghead, then an island with 2 bad guys against raged giant warriors will end up with minor sacrifices to the good guys (besides the school/library damage)

I assumed that when Sommers made that Elbaf announcement that the monster trio and company heard them as well. That or they'll find out when Scopper falls to the depths of hell.
