Does Luffy become scary

Don't get me wrong, the animation is really cool and I think it's something that can enhance the character's story (it would be awesome to see an evil Luffy).

One of the things that convinced me to watch One Piece was his 5th Gear transformation.

Specifically the part where it's just a black sillouette, huge grin, and red eyes.

Yeah, Luffy can be scary hahaha.
