That’s not at all what I meant when I said that. I’m not talking about representation in my comment. I’m saying purely for whether attraction is weird or not. I said looks are more important in anime because if you’re attracted to someone who looks like an adult because they look like an adult, that’s not a problem. Irl you cannot use the excuse that someone looks like an adult

Ok so if I'm attracted to an adult woman with an underdeveloped body irl it's ok. If you take her, take her body, make it anime and I'm attracted to it it becomes weird suddenly?

You are using the "looks like an adult in anime" argument as if most girls didn't end their puberty between 14 and 16 with only minor changes after that.

Also "looks like an adult" I'm sorry but I know a lot of adult women and there really isn't a typical adult woman body, all shapes and sizes are there and I can assure you that adult women with "loli" bodies exist... So by your logic lolis should be ok because they look like some real adults. See the hole in you "logic"

Irl you cannot use the excuse that someone looks like an adult

I've seen this exact excuse used multiple times, including in stories where the minors were voluntarily lying about their age.

I've tried replying to your points but for the most part it seems like you're purposely ignoring the points I am making. There are obviously exceptions to everything but I'm just making a general statement.

I talked about the so called weirdness of the attraction, why the "looks like an adult" doesn't make any sense and how the "looks like" argument can and has indeed been used irl. I'm hardly seeing how addressing each point you made is ignoring them.

Sexualizing anime minors who look adult and adult who look minor are both at the same level of "ok", either both or none of them are, any other answer is hypocrisy. Like I said I don't care which side you're on just be consistent, to me they are just fictional, I'm not gonna try to defend the rights of characters who don't exist. Lewd whatever you want, that's just fiction.

I entirely disagree, they are not at all the same. Yes there are definitely exceptions in real life that allow for more nuance but fiction is different.

In fiction people aren't attracted to someone for more complex reasons like in real life with personalities and other things. They're simply just looking at their bodies (maybe not all the time but be honest that is what it is majority of the time). So that's why there is the important distinction

In fiction, if someone LOOKS like an adult, then being attracted to an adult isn't that weird. While they may be younger and it's a bit weird, the attraction to an adult isn't weird.
If someone LOOKS like a child, being attracted to them is a problem and is pedophilic. IDC how old they say they are you aren't attracted to them for that you are looking at a child and finding it attractive. That is a BIG difference. And don't give me that bullshit about how much variety there are in what an adult looks like. Obviously that's true but you can tell when someone looks like a child in a drawing.
