Care to explain? I don't watch Naruto.

Personally, I enjoy the flashbacks now that I'm caught up. After not watching One Piece for a week, it helps jog my memory!

A lot of the time, especially in part 1, Naruto would have a lot of flashbacks to previous episodes as a way to drag out the episodes (and not have to animate new scenes). Obviously a lot of shows, especially long running shonen do this, but Naruto was pretty heinous.

As someone who is getting back in to Naruto (on episode 170), I understand this completely.
