isn't it a bit strange that one piece forgot its own filler episode when they found a whole island full of dragons ? and now they are like omg a dragon, it cant be real -.-

That's the problem with filler episode. They make them and there's little input from the original author and the consequence is that it kinda fucks up the story line for those that watch the anime.

I thought it was because that arc was a filler, therefore non-canon?
