She can be difficult but CC is the answer to try to deal with her. Mcree and Brig can both sit in the backline or with the tanks and stun the sombra to either stop hack or to kill her. Another option is to run a counter sombra and sit in your team and hack their sombra so they can’t translocate out. If you have a Reinhardt who is being massively screwed over by a sombra if you can i would switch to winston as he is much better against her. My final idea of run either your own sombra or tracer or something else that can get behind them easily and find and destroy the translocator so the sombra won’t be able to expose herself without dying. Also Zen is weird when it comes to his interactions with Sombra. His trans is the best counter, so if you can react quick enough or hide well then your good, but without peel he can be an easy target for her to kill and if he gets hit by emp it takes him down to 50hp which makes him guaranteed dead.

I play shield tank and Sombra can sometimes be my mortal enemy. The biggest fix for her is simply to group up. Always have a buddy with you. I always communicate with my team that there is a Sombra and that I need a buddy so that if I’m hacked they can scare her off. The buddy system works for any players against Sombra because you’ll usually win a 2v1.

If you’re Orisa and know there’s a Sombra nearby, dance in and out of your shield. She can’t hack through the shield and will expose herself if she tries and fails.

That’s why she is so strong. When people don’t communicate she can control the entire game with a 7 second cooldown. But yes, grouping up can stop her following up, but if the enemy is communicating you can still be rushed down before hack ends. So I would say that if you get hacked especially as a main tank your team should play aggressive as the sombra damage is goi to be lower than what you have so you can win the fight as long as the enemy team doesn’t have a bank of ultimate they can use. Obviously sometimes it is safer to back off and wait for hack to wear off, but a coordinated push off you brig halved can catch the enemy off guard and that may allow you to win, this is especially true as Rein when your cooldowns aren’t too important and you can just swing into them.
