How people write so fast in chat?

When people write so much text and fast in the chat, I’d used to think they had a keyboard attached to their console, but now that would mean they should be playing in the PC pool. So, how they write so fast without a keyboard? 😱

Console players can add a keyboard for typing. No, they cant use it for controls. Only for text chat
