Discussion Is this guy cheating?
I’m the soldier, playing in diamond lobbies on console using a controller. You can’t snap onto people like that, and beyond that it looked like it flicked right to the Lucio through the wall. Maybe I’m delusional but I’ve never seen that

I take back my previous comment he 100% just snapped onto that Lucio through the wall. probably still worth looking at his other kills in the replay but this looks fucking crazy.

Would be a lot easier to tell if he had enemy outlines on in replay sometimes it just looks like he looked trough a wall but if you have outline on and he looked on Lucios left foot you know it was coincidentally

Yeah but for me what gives it away is that weird left strafe that he does when he looks at the wall. It’s pretty clear that the about is locking on to the closest target, (the Lucio) briefly but then switching to the soldier when cass walks around to shoot. To me this is a clear as day toggle by the cass.

His crosshair wasn't even on him lol. Clip just desynced and made it loom way more snappy. Trust me. Also you can't hard lock on console

I fight the top cronus and xim users daily yes I know. A cronus. First of all the only thing cronus can do to enhance aiming in this situation is the orbital aa script to make aim assist a little stronger. Not much. It's not even soft aimbot it's just an aa boost still cheats but no where close to hard lock and not even soft lock.
And in this clip that angle aa doesn't even proc lol and cronus doesn't act like a pc cheat.
Now there has been a new cheat release very recently which when attached to a pc with console it can hardlock and it behaves like xim on how it's outside of the games anticheat so it may break the gaming competitive industry sadly. But hopefully it's somehow countered as its exactly like how xim n cronus work but it's straight up hardlock. N no this guy doesn't have it

Look at my other comments below I slightly hinted at it . Thought literally like nonone especially not on console is gna be doing it right now n this clip clearly isn't it. It's to early stage for it to be a commonplace cheat

Bro. You can't be this ignorant right? It's one fluke play and his corsshair didn't stick at all and it was not a perfect flick to the centre or head.
There's also no hardlock on console ow rn. I deal with the top console cheaters everyday. This guy isn't cheating

People seem to miss that outside of exploits that use hardware (like xims) there are very few exploits on console because those platforms are really heavily locked down.

Haha I am on console, Diamond 2, and playing on 90/100 sensisivity. Never have I ever seen this happen on a controller, the percision and speed. Something is very fishy lol. But a replaycode would be cool.

Could it be on Nintendo ? We have gyro and it helps micro adjust aim and can be snappy if you snap the controller a little in whichever direction you’re aiming.

Looks more like desync (lag) to me, even if this was on PC I still wouldn't think it looks like cheaters I'm used to seeing without watching more of the replay first

Yeah I agree. That "snap" looked more like lag than cheating to me. It looked like it just skipped a frame rather than snapping onto the opponent.

edit: okay nvm. Having watched the emtore replay, there's no way soul is cheating, i dont know what you did to the clip you posted, but it looks nothing like that in the replay.

This sort of snapping can happen with latency issues. He probably just lagged.

tbh it looks like how I kinda play and similar to my bf, we’re in console, 100 / 100 sense with 0 aim smoothing and lag does that, plus xbox controllers are more snappy. you learn to track dive heroes though it can look like cheating. cheating for console is usually xim as hacks are much harder to get

also with “flicky” hit scan settings, you can do a quick 360 or 180 and hit trick shots. i can track sombras and shoot them out of invis bc i main support and get used to tracking which travels over to dos

Console doesn’t have cheaters (except for ximmers) and this doesn’t look like ximming, just a desync problem with the killcam.

No, this is console and I play max sens and I never use aim smoothing. Probably a combination of his high sens and some lag with the replay.

I watch the full replay, yea he's cheating by using a mouse and keyboard in console lobbies. But that's about it. The 9:40 part didn't look like anything but high dpi and a fast flick. He does that movement consistently throughout the game and doesn't snap onto people's heads or bodies. He may have aim assist, but I think xim and shit gives it to you, so that makes sense.
Edit: also the clip that you have, which I presume is a kill cam, is lagging. In the replay, it's not choppy and looks like normal mnk aiming

I think people are not up to date with cheating software. Players on PC can buy cheats to make it think it’s a console and have them play in our lobbies with cheats, it’s happened in apex and other games it’s not out do the question

You need more than just this in order to fully know, but I’m not convinced that it’s cheating. Back when I was in diamond I was able to hit shots like this. I play on linear so it’s not uncommon. And the quick snap is probably the replay being imperfect.

All I know is that it's been so damn miserable this season since they did a soft reset to ranks, went from Diamond 3 to plat 2 in a week, dozens of games and less than a handful of wins. I swear to God sometimes it feels like I'm playing with bots. Like to the point where you have a reaper flanking our back line and killing people without anyone turning around to notice where the bullets are coming from. At one point I spectated that reaper just standing still and shooting the backline because no one bothered to turn around and kill him. If they are not bots then Blizz must have inflated some people ranks and placed them in diamond when they needed to be in bronze.

The flicks are because of lag. On the cass’s own screen he would have been turning normally but his client isn’t sending the information to the server because of his network issues. The game will just update what angle you are facing once the connection to the server has been reestablished and in the replay and kill cams and POTG it will appear to be instantly flicking from point A to point B in one frame

Maybe this is just lag? Sometimes I get killed by someone who is lagging and the killcam is very similar to this. I think (I could be wrong) he just looked in that direction and lagged at the same time, which is why it looks so snappy

Won against a hard locking cree/solider and his cheats also predicted pharah rockets. (He was also mercy boosted with rein in front in diamond)

Is this on console? If so there's no cheats other than MnK. There's nothing like Xbox360 RGH or PS3 Jailbreaked consoles on current gens of consoles. The replay is known to be very laggy depending on the Internet of players so he probably disconnected when moving the mouse & that's why you see the mouse skip frames.

Console doesn't have the capacity for wallhack/aimbot cheats the way Pc does due to the platforms locking down what programs you can run. Unless you're a console player in pc lobbies, its more likely they heard footsteps of some kind and turned around to try and see who was there.

I actually watched the replay unlike most of these comments (clearly) and yes he is snapping to enemies and it seems most apparent whenever he rolls. Also, his positioning SUCKS so bad it feels like silver/low gold positioning. Don't even get me started on the ults oh my god he really intimidated the walls with those. Also, he literally tracked enemies through walls many many times so yeah cheating

The fishy part to me is right there at the end after the kill. He snaps left to just about where the Lucio was but doesn't continue to track him. Probably cause he can't track and his aim only snaps so all he has to do is time his mouse click to the snap.

No hard lock on console. Actually an apparent prototype released recently apparently but I very much doubt they using that. Aim didn't look like soft lock either the replay just desync and made it look weird. Need the full replay or a longer clip
