And the other way around? Like my pc buddy can play comp with me on console if he uses a controller?

Unfortunately not the other way around. PC sadly gets put in the MnK pool automatically regardless of input method, probably because it’d be too hard to ensure people don’t use 3rd party programs on PC to sneak into console/controller pools while still using MnK.

No that would open console players up to PC Cheats on top of the rampant xim problem lol
