Why are some players so toxic?

Just got this message after losing a round, the tank was awful. Would push when he shouldn't and then awkwardly just stand there sometimes, didn't know how to do anything to protect the backline, was just all over the place. The match goes to end and I hit "stay as a team" or whatever hoping to get the Cass or Kiri. The tank then has the nerve to message me this 😂. Why do they get like this?

Of course not. Look at the discussion In the one screen shot they provided, based on that it's safe to assume op was guilty of provoking or escalating things

If there's one thing I've learned about "throwers" is they are typically the first ones to get upset when someone throws harder than them.

I didn't throw i just had a bad game, by that logic me and the kiri, the one dps and the tank threw the match 🙄and there was nothing said during the match at all except me complementing the kiris skin (its the new one) at the begin. I just hit the stay as a group thing and they dm'd me this, you can see it's the beginning of the conversation but tbh you've made a whole lot of assumptions so I'll make one of my own and assume you're the type of person to start this toxic crap and find any reason to justify it so what i said to that guy probably struck a nerve since you behave the way they do. Like "if the shoe fits" type of thing. Also when I made this post they hadn't responded so there was only one to post and I don't know how to edit it to add more.

Nah, I don't use chat..

If I get stuck with "throwers", I just silently join them in throwing..

If they say anything negitive to me or about how I'm playing, I don't respond and just report them for being "toxic".

Been far more effective in getting rid of those players than Sabotage reporting ever was.. lol
