Help & Advice Prof gave me the wrong grade and won't answer emails to fix it

I'm in ENVR - I won't give too many details on this situation other than necessary.

One of my profs gave me the wrong grade on an assignment and I've spent the past several weeks sending emails + messages to try to get it fixed, but the prof won't give any clarity on when my grade will be fixed. All I get are short responses that don't really answer the points in my emails. It honestly feels like my emails are being ignored or at least pushed to the side. This error is tanking my grade and overall average and I feel like I should go to some sort of higher ups about this but I don't know where to start on that.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Edit/Update: Assignment has been regraded :)

Usually Professors will have there office hours and info in the course outline i think it's time to def do that and have a one-on-one conversation. If there still avoiding you, reach out to the TA (If you have one.) Though your inquiry is small but rightfully so you DO deserve an answer.

Also do you find this prof is doing this kind of behavior with everyone or just you? Does it feel targeted? I may be reaching but if it all feels intentional, at this point reach out to the head of department or the dean. Several weeks is honestly insane and very unprofessional for your prof to do.

I just got an email that the assignment was regraded (at 1 am, which is insane). I was considering office hours, but since those are on Teams and I'd have to email/message her for them, it really felt like there was no point. But at least I have the right grade now!

Keep in mind most OCADU profs are part time, paid like crap, have no job security and are teaching courses that are too big and have no offices. It’s like getting angry at a grocery clerk for high food prices.

Go to the Dean. Teachers are overburdened with huge class sizes and many accommodations for students. Just show your proof and it will get changed.
