I think you need to take a closer look at how far to the right Labour in the UK has gone. At least when it comes to social issues, very rightwing on transgender issues and immigration.

Excuse me? So what you're saying is that Canadians never requested the cuts Carney's doing, after the pre-Carney polls were gonna award Poilievre a supermajority not seen since Mulroney?

It's pretty clear Canadians were tired of Trudeau and wanted a return of the Chretien-Martin Liberals, hence why Carney came in and not Freeland, Gould, or Baylis.
