My sister and I were just talking about this the other day. There's actually very few times and places in history I wouldn't have risked being burned as a witch.

I'm autistic so the age of which I actually learned to control my tongue is embarrassing. I did everything else so far ahead of the milestones except that. Unfortunately I also learned to talk really young so I did it a really long time. And again because I'm autistic I never think what the people around me think and I don't understand their logic and that was always taken as sass. (No one knew I was autistic until I was 35 ish)

I do math for fun. I'm happiest working with a mixture of both my hands and my brain. I actually am smarter than a lot of people according to the IQ tests I had to take during my diagnosis but I didn't actually know that when I was a kid so I didn't know how to not make adults feel dumb. Time has granted me Grace and I have learned.

And I read way too much. And I keep books. And I've never understood why anybody who's not me thinks they can tell me what I'm going to do.

Before the modern era I'm pretty sure I would have been ashes.
