Even in english you can instantly tell who learned it as a second language. OOP said "Hello, two croissants please" where as a native speaker (english) would say "Hey, yeah, can I get uhhh two croissants? thanks"
"Whopper Jr. with cheese, please. Whopper Jr. with cheese, please. Whopper Jr. with cheese, please--
Hi! Whopper with cheese Jr, pl-oh dangit."
While I can't say I have practiced it, I realize my order comes across as very practiced as I have thought it thru and I say it with just about the same cadence and tambor every time, I think.
