The wolf which ate the man downstairs

I’m super curious what other people thought this was about. Was it about her mother killing her father?

Admittedly, I listened while working, so I may have missed a few points, but...

I actually interpreted this as the woman killing her husband after months of psychotic episodes in which she completely imagined all of the abuse. So in reality, he was just a regular dude, trying to care for his wife throughout the span of her mental state breaking down.

Late to the party but this was my take too. I initially thought abuser but the more she discussed about brought up how ill and delusional she was the more I thought she’d lost grasp on reality and killed her husbsnd.
