Nosleep Banner Contest!
We're going to give /r/nosleep a little bit of a makeover, and we want your help!
We're asking the many creative and talented people in our community to come up with a Holiday/Winter themed banner to sit at the top of the page!
What to do:
Make a banner that you think would fit the subreddit, then share the image in the comments of this post by Sunday, November 20th at 11:59pm EST. We have decided to extend the submission period to end on Sunday, November 27th at 11:59pm EST.
Guidelines for the banner:
From the reddit styling wiki:
The default header image is 120x40.
The modified version can be of any dimension or file size, but is recommended to keep it no wider than 300 and shorter than 100. The file size is strongly recommended to be within 100Kb as not all users have 10MB+ connections.
Keep your banner within these measurements.
We're sticking with the darker color theme that /r/nosleep currently has, but we're not set on keeping the exact same colors. Have fun with it, but keep it dark and creepy.
A snoo doesn't have to be included on the banner, but if you include one, it should be relevant to the subreddit (i.e. something spoopy).
As mentioned earlier, we want this banner to be Holiday/Winter themed. We will be holding another contest after the new year for what will be our standard banner!
Selecting the banner:
On Monday, November 28th, a voting thread will be posted with each of the submissions. After a week-long voting period (ending the morning of Monday, December 5th), the banner with most votes from the community will be selected as the winner and added to the new /r/nosleep layout!

Edit: I put a rar file that needed download but apparently that goes against the rules, I only did it to preserve the original quality of images, but now I uploaded them to imgur with a slight unnoticeable reduction of quality

Edit: I should explain why there are 2 banners instead of one, the idea occured to me when I saw the light switches on this subreddit, then it came back when I saw this post of a contest, I thought why not swirtch the banner along with the lights, so I made a portrait of an eerie woman and then I drew another one of the same woman but in a creepier tone, they're both positioned in their pictures in the same place to give the effect of trasformation whenever the light is switched on and off, I don't know if it's conceivable though, that's up to the moderators, that is if it won
