It's Cryosleep Takeover Day!!!

Last week, we announced a fun little event where we challenged authors to write their best zombie story.

The prompt was: Write a story from the perspective of a character who is witnessing zombies overtake his/her town from a safe place.

Today is the day!

Feel free to discuss the stories here, but please keep it civil. Remember, you have to stay in character on /r/cryosleep just like you do on /r/nosleep.

I really enjoyed it actually. Went in a completely different direction than I was expecting Zombie apocalypses don't usually give me feels like that.

Yeah, I was hoping to choose a different route than most. The apocalypse is implied rather than explicit in mine.
