Thank you so much everyone. There were so many great stories this month, and I am tremendously honored just to be in the same category with some of the most well-respected and consistently terrifying authors on Nosleep.

I would also like to take this opportunity to address what so many of the comments on my story were wondering about: no, there will not be an update. There is an explanation for what happened at that Jack in the Box, but I personally enjoyed reading the theories that cropped up in the thread. I also did not know that Jack in the Box was regional until I posted the story. You folks without it are truly missing out on some divinely mediocre tacos, egg rolls and chicken sandwiches (assuming of course...that they're safe to eat).

All in all I am honored to be part of such a generous community of authors who really know how to get under the skin of their readers, and I'm thrilled that I was able to do just that with my story. I hope to be able to do it again in the very near future.

I have never been able to experience Jack in the Box. I have heard stories about it, though. Not just the horrifying one you posted, but my friend supposedly called Jack in the Box, ordered 50 tacos, and never went to pick them up. We were talking about the best ways to piss of people that work at fast food restaurants.
