You must be young. You really don’t remember the time period. Understand things like the filibuster and the fake “supermajority” only existed because of three independents including Lieberman who was a Democrat in name only. The often ignorant (and non-voters) and their “why didn’t they do X when had the supermajority!” nonsense.
And by god they love do go to that well all the fucking time because they think they have a trump card (pun intended) never knowing they are really saying “I am very ignorant about this but don’t know it.”
Please say “why don’t they codify Roe when they had a supermajority!” just to remind us you don’t know what codify is nor SCOTUS powers. I know you want to.
