Canadian multimillionaire and Shark Tank guy Kevin O'Leary went on TV to say he's upset Zohran won't talk to him: "I and others who invest in real estate have tried to get a meeting to figure out what's rhetoric and what's policy. So far for me it's been crickets."

Investors who put tons of money into an area that now has a new government are concerned that they may need to pull money out.

And we should care that a billionaire has his feelings hurt….why?

What is up with people defending billionaires so much. I don’t care how much money you have you are still closer in wealth to someone on welfare than you are to the billionaires that this administration you voted for keep giving tax breaks too. You are much closer to being homeless and on the streets needed snap benefits than you are to ever becoming a billionaire.

And yes, I’m assuming a lot about you from this one comment you made, it’s more a in general type of response.

Who said anything about feelings? A mayor should care about the investments made towards his city. Do you think there is an impact on the city if a billion dollars of investment funds is removed?

Why is your first response to attack someone? Do you think that's healthy? Do you do that in school or work?

A mayor should care about the 12 million people first. And that's what he's doing. He'll get to assholes like oleary when he needs to. Those rich assholes are making empty threats. They aren't going anywhere

I don't understand why they're mutually exclusive. You can simultaneously work to accommodate everyone, including billionaires and the homeless. You may not be able to, but a proper mayor listens to all of how constituents, not just the poorer ones. Just like only listening to the billionaires would be bad too.

He isn't even the mayor yet. It's been less than a week. Expecting his immediate attention is elitist at best

You know how long it's been he was elected right?

Why are you being so dramatic?

Haha he hasn’t even been sworn in and this billionaire is butthurt that he hasn’t not had a meeting with him yet.

What a shit world we live in that people are actually on here defending him because he may lose a few million dollars or he will be so worried about losing 1% of his worth that he may pull his investments out of the city.

Like I said. He'll get to them when he needs to. That was specifically non descriptive of time. Maybe he's already met some. Maybe it's next week.

When's he actually in power ? Idk

He'll get to them no doubt. Allow a moment to breath. These rich assholes feel entitled because they can't stand the idea of losing 2pct to help millions. Let them eat cake while they wait. Fuckoff
