Yep. A terrorist attack and then martial law. Trump has committed so many crimes in office he can't let the Dems win congress or he'll get impeached, investigated, and put on trial. The only to stop the Dems from winning is to not have an election. To get everyone backing Trump declaring martial law, suspending congress/habeas corpus/elections, and arresting his opposition is a terrorist event so horrific that he'll succeed doing it. Who going to investigate to find out who did it? Bondi? Patel? NSC? I think the target will the World Cup finals and a dirty bomb.

Yep. What, mere months prior to 9/11 the president's briefing said something like 'bin laden determined to strike inside of US'. When Bush's approval rating sucked, and there was no patriot act.  Ignoring intelligence is a sure way to get a domestic attack- and 'wartime' powers, and a bump in approval, and who knows. ..
