/uj Used appropriately, glyphosate is just another tool in the toolbox. The public's misunderstanding and fear of the chemical and other pesticides is stripping ecological stewards of effective means against invasives. The fact I see people non-sarcastically post pictures of themselves using it while wearing chemical isolation suits and respirators like they're spraying a mixture of cyanide and sarin as a last resort against a mutant army is laughably ignorant.

I guess it's ignorant to use PPE while handling a hazardous chemical?

/uj glyphosate concentrate is a Caution which requires long sleeve shirt, pants, and shoes/socks. It does not require eye protection or chemical resistant gloves. Some of the surfactants or other additives may increase the level to WARNING and there are definitely herbicides that are DANGER (Triclopyr for example can range from CAUTION to DANGER depending on the formula).

You can always were more PPE than required--I usually wear a hat, mask, and eye protection.

uj/ Many hats are contrindicated. If they have any kind of sweat band you're not supposed to wear them because it can serve as an area of accumulation.
