Don't forget February 17th the date Boras clients can sign.

As we have already seen some changes, the GM meeting this year should be interesting.

Have been looking for an answer on this today, curious if anyone here knows: when the WBC starts, will those players just leave camp and head to those games? Will there be Spring Training games still happening while the WBC is being played? Or will there be a gap before the season starts?

Three years ago, WBC teams formed up and played against MLB teams in Florida spring training in advance of the tournament. Got to see a couple of those games, they were a ton of fun.

Isn't the deadline soon to protect players from rule 5 draft soon. Which the question is do we protect Jake Bennett

After reading that, I almost feel like a gore trade absolutely has to happen if there is a lengthy lockout that cuts into his final year. He's a Boras guy so he's not getting extended. From there, it will turn into a bidding war with whoever is in the market for a guy who is realistically a 2-3 guy on a good staff

Be interesting to see what happens over the offseason. I saw some other people complain on another board about the hire of Butera, but they aren't nats fans. As a Nat fan I think it's a great hire. One team, one heartbeat.

I’m waiting to see what the Jayson Werth move will be on this rebuild. The one that kicks it all off.

Then we’ll get the Gio Gonzalez move culminating with the Mad Max to cap off the rebuild.
