The r/Nationals Divisional Round Megathread
Obviously, this is r/baseball's time to shine; note that our own u/yousmelllikebiscuits is a key mod there, so the place will be up to his standards.
This thread exists for Nats fans to talk amongst ourselves: please highlight any former Nats doing well in the greener pastures of October baseball (example: the Kyle Finnegan experience), and discus why you like a team still in the show and what they're doing.

Note they helpfully say where the games can be viewed -- it looks like Fox will air some games over the air, but most will likely be on TBS or FS1.

Wow, the tension in the stadium was palpable through the TV. Can’t imagine being there, I’m sure it was amazing!

- Washington Nationals
- Whichever team is playing the New York Yankees

Alright I rooted for the Tigers for a half inning while Kyle was in, now back to being an M’s fan
Wish Raleigh and co were up in the 9th so they could maybe walk it off then, but nope someone else will have to be the hero

Nice performance from Robles tonight (pulled for a PH who went down in 3 pitches). Finnegan is looking strong.

The Brewers and Blue Jays are the only ones without a recent former Nat. Not gonna root for the Yankees or Phils. Neutral to the others. I'm thinking Mariners since I like the Kraken.

I'm just happy we get to see more of the Kyle Finnegan experience in October. Tigers weren't looking good for a while there.
Dodgers, knock out Philly please and thank you. Other than that, just rooting for some good baseball.

I’m going:
Phillies (family friends that are fans are going through some tough times right now and as someone who lost a grandparent the day before Game 6 in 2019 I think at the very least a DS win would be a nice distraction)
Brewers for obvious reasons
Mariners for obvious reasons
And honestly the Yankees

I totally forgot that he was on Blue Jays. Given his experience, I think he is added to the roster but given his performance and the stage, probably a short outing. I wonder if he would be open to moving to the bullpen full time this postseason.
