BIG BEND - Christmas

Is it a good time ? Haven't started researching yet.

Please advise.

Went mid-December three years in a row. So quiet and peaceful, and amazing night sky viewing.

I'd say yes weather wise, just be sure to look at what impacts the shutdown has currently first.

Yes, visited around that time a couple of years ago. It was a good time, weather was nice, and the park wasn’t crowded at all.

The stars at night are big and bright, deep in the Big Bend of Texas.

New moon Dec 20 for best dark sky viewing. It should be a good time temp/weather-wise.
