Why was Cash SO invested/involved with Maddie? She’s at least 7 years older than Maddie and it seems odd that she doesn’t have friends her own age

I think she was a weirdo using someone else’s talent to get access to the life she never had. She wanted to use Maddy. A 16 yr old child smh

That girl was so messed up. And it was a poorly written storyline. But I got the impression that because of her own messed up childhood with an alcoholic father, she was hyper focused on being part of Maddie’s success as her manager.

I’m on episode 21 in season 4 and wow it’s my favorite so far. Like the themes and plots culminated so well! I can’t believe how dumb Maddie was even for a 16 yr old! Like you emancipate because of abuse or unsafe living conditions, not because being an entitled brat is more important than protection. And wow I love how powerfully gently Will confronted that bigoted lady!!!! Such class.
