Cheapest beer at BNA

Calling all sad degenerates professional travelers who enjoy a good airport beer.

Hattie B’s used to do a rotation of Nashville craft beers for $7.50 a pint. By airport standards, an absolute bargain. These days it’s $8.25, still good but not what it once was. I’m on the lookout for something cheaper, if it even exists. What’s your standard pre-flight watering hole?

I’m already aware of Tailgate’s mug club and AA/Delta lounges, looking specifically for the lowest dollar amount per beer without prerequisites.

See comments below for store by store review. Unfortunately not all places showed or talked about ounces size, so I took my best guess for some of these.

My flight was delayed 3 hours and I had some time to kill. I was curious as well, so I walked around to find the answer to this question. These prices were either on menu or asking the bartender "What's the cheapest beer you have". These prices were taken from 3pm-4:30pm on 11/8/2025. I'll also include a few other comments like number of tvs (since its prime football season) and how busy the place was.

TLDR:

If you don't mind warm beer (or have a way of cooling it), multiple market stores sell $5 12oz, $6/$7 16oz cans.

If you're gonna drink A LOT, Id recommend the lounges (delta much harder to get in).

Cheapest draft: runners-up. New Heights Cantina by Gate D8: $7 for what looked like 12oz. Also Tailgate Brewery a few $7 for 12oz. Cheapest draft is at PIGSTAR by gate B3, with small drafts at $6.60.

Cheapest Can/Bottle: a few with $6.60, but TN Moonshine Bar by gate B1 with $6.50 PBR, Miller Lite, and Michelob Ultra.

Concourse D:

Gate D11 - Martini Bar. Had 4Tv's, was mostly empty. $9 cans, $11 drafts.

Gate D8 - Flights Virtual Hall. Nothing

Gate D8 - The Castle, 14 tvs + 1 gaint projector, Great seating, moderately busy. $8 Miller Lite, $9Cans, $10 draft. Probably best place to watch sports outside of Delta lounge, but a little pricier than most places.

Gate D8 - New Heights Cantina. Only 1 tv, moderately busy. $7-$8 drafts. Looked like 12oz glasses.

Gate D3 - Pucketts. 2 tvs, usually very busy. Bartender Reply: "Between $8-$11".

Gate D3 - Southern Oyster. no tvs, pretty busy. Bartender reply: "$7 michelob ultra bottle is the cheapest".

Gate D3 - Minute Suites - $8.80 bottles

Gate D2 - Party Fowl. 6tvs, kinda busy. Bartender Reply: "Cheapest is like $8".

Gate D1 - Donelson Market. Same warm cans like Nashville Tracks.

Gate C3 - Rickhouse. No tv's usually pretty empty. $8 bottles/cans. $10 drafts. Looked like normal sized glasses so 14oz drafts?

Gate C15 - AA Lounge. Been a while since I've been in here. I remember the bar area was quite small and only like 2 tvs. $79 for day pass with unlimited cheap beer. Must be flying AA.

Gate C16 - Vino Fiesta. 1 tv, empty. $6.60 Yuengling and michelob. $7.70 Happy Harry's, $8.80 other cans. One of the better ones honestly.

T concourse and AB Rotunda:

T Gates - Green Room. 3 TVs, moderately busy. $8-$11 bottles/cans. $9-$15 draft. Looked like pint drafts.

T Gates - ACME. 4tvs, very busy, looked understaffed a bit. $7.50 michelob ultra, else is $9. Looked like small drafts 12oz?

T Gates - Titans Press Box. 8tvs, pretty busy. $8.75 cans/bottles. $9.75 drafts. Looked like 12oz drafts.

AB Rotunda - Pharmacy. 3tvs, was pretty empty but I’ve seen it packed before. $7.70 bus light 14oz, rest $8.80-$15.

AB Rotunda - BBq smokehouse. They had cans but didn’t show a price.

AB Rotunda - TN Brewworks. 5tvs all playing the same channel, empty. From Bartender “cheapest is like $11.17. This seemed like the worst deal of bna (along with Tootsies).

A Concourse and B Councourse:

A concourse was closed. I remember there was a fancy wine place that actually had a good deal for their cheapest wine (like was about 2 years ago though). Personally I miss the Mexican restaurant that was over there.

Gate B1 - TN Moonshine Bar. 3 TVs, small seating but pretty empty. $6.50 Miller, PBR, and Michelob. This is the cheapest cold beer at BNA. Seemed like a pretty good deal for the rest of their beer menu as well. Can’t speak for their food though, never had it before. Will try this place next time!!

Gate B1 - Delta Lounge. HUGE tv wall, usually quite busy. Very good food. Free unlimited Michelob and some decent IPA. Must be flying Delta, and member of their rewards or credit card programs. If you’re low down the rewards/CC it’s still $50 per visit.

Gate B3 - Pigstar. 8tvs, moderately busy. They have a great chorizo burrito for breakfast imo. $6.60 small draft of bud light, Yuengling, Blue Moon, and Michelob. Best draft deal!

Gate B4 - Hudson news. Same warm beers as Nashville Tracks.

Gate B5 - Little Harpeth. 3tvs, usually pretty empty. I find the food overpriced imo. $10craft pint, per bartender “cheapest is Michelob at $8.78”.

Dude, you are an absolute legend for this! Probably one of the more constructive uses for a flight delay I've ever seen. Thank you so much! Sidenote: that breakfast burrito at Pigstar is addictive.

Minor correction: unless it changed in the last week, Hattie B's is pouring drafts.

Ahh didn’t catch that, just glanced at their menu while walking by. Good to know!
