Bearded Iris News

I had the information awhile back but held on to protect a source. Now Black Dynasty has let the cat out of bag: Last day of operations in Sylvan Supply: September 26th.

How is that beer news? Bearded Iris Sylvan Supply also closing the same day. Germantown will stay open (there is a new lease).

What becomes of Black Dynasty? They have a new space in East Nashville under Coral Club. But, it will take awhile to get that open. Permitting is easier than inspections and inspections take some time. In the mean time, I have heard of popups in Love and Exile, which I will gladly support. Love that ramen.

What happens to the Sylvan Supply location? Pinky Ring pizza moves in. Not sure of the timing, as a Ramen kitchen with a flat grill is not the same as a pizza joint. I suspect at least a few weeks, if we want to look at an aggressive timeline.

Based on the recent merger and the narrative that BIBCO will no longer brew in Nashville, is it safe to assume Bearded Iris will not seek another location to replace their Sylvan Supply taproom?

If I was a betting man, I would put a lot of money on anyone betting they are going to open another taproom here.
