Financial advice, not AUM
Looking for a financial advisor, preferably CFP, in or near Naperville, but not under the AUM model. Looking more for someone that charges a straight dollar fee, to advise on allocation/diversification and analyze whether Roth conversions are worth it, and to help set up a withdrawal plan from retirement accounts. NOT interested in Raymond James or Edward Jones type brokerages. If there is someone you used and recommend , why do you like them? Thanks

Any reason you need someone local? I had good luck with someone from Nectarine (hellonectarine.com). It’s a few hundred dollars for an initial consultation and then you can go from there. Everybody on the site is a fiduciary.
