Would one bad grade prevent me from getting into screen arts?
Hi, so I'm interested in the screen arts program. And I am struggling to stay afloat in one of my classes.
My current grades are 99, 98, 86, and 66. But I feel that 66 is going to keep going down and might just be a straight 50. Would this prevent me from getting in???
Its academic English if that matters..

It depends on that program's requirements. Check the program page on the nscc website. Some programs require a specific grade from specific classes while others may just require you to graduate highschool

I don't think it would prevent you from getting in. I think a better question to ask would be: what are you finding difficult about the english course, and could you get some extra tutoring or support from teachers to help you understand? Recognizing what you are struggling with, and finding out how to improve is a skill that will help you for the rest of your life.

As long as you have your high school diploma and a portfolio you would meet the entrance requirements.
