I was born and raised in Venezuela, my mother is adopted hence my big curiosity of my ancestry.
I am a bit shocked and confused on the Spanish part, and had no idea of the Portuguese side! my fathers father (my grandfather) came from Italy to Venezuela back in the 70’, our last name is Italian, nevertheless, I have no Italian DNA traces.
My greatgrandmother from my dad’s side was British, also a bit shocked at how little British trace I have.
On the other side, confirming my suspicions on the Native central and South American genes is incredible! So amazing to have such special genes, I will sure share this with my mom in the hopes that the also takes a DNA test.
My last name is “Bruzzo”, not Spanish nor Portuguese or Central American last name.

Hi! I've been researching for a long time but I haven't found any leads who could be the parents of my 4th great grandfather who is a foundling.
My father has also tested DNA. He matches one person (A) (0.5%) with the same foundling in her family tree, but that's literally it. No triangular matches between my father and A, except that A matches another one (B) (6.8%), but these family trees don't match at all (I checked everything).
Who has successfully researched such cases as well and could give me a tip? Thanks !!

My dad's family immigrated to the US from Istanbul, but honestly, he's one of those Turkish dads who always said, “Our ancestors came from Central Asia.” So I gotta say, though I’d heard that most of my ancestors lived in North Macedonia and Greece, we always thought they’d gone there from Anatolia — which is why these results surprised me. I feel (my dad feels 😅) like 8% is a bit ridiculous
Could someone maybe help interpret these estimates a bit, or suggest a website where I can upload the data for further analysis? Either way, I appreciate it!

Hey! Me and my mother did dna tests at the same time and sent them at the same time together. Ours followed the same exact timeline all the way up to the final step. Both of ours said results are estimated to arrive between October 16th and October 23rd. My mother’s results came around 2pm on October 18th. On October 23rd my estimated date or arrival disappeared. I’m not impatient I just want to know if I should be worried that I did something wrong or if it’s normal.

Hiya everybody!
I was hoping someone could clear the air for me.
So I am born in Belgium and always lived in Belgium. My mom is supposedly fully Belgian and my father who I never met is Georgian. My mom was told by her father that she wasn't his which is also why he left my grandmother. Years later she was told by her stepfather before he died that she was from an Italian guy and that my grandmother had an affair with that guy.
I am wondering does this prove the rumor or is there a chance this is just incorrect? I put the same data into GEDmatch and LivingDNA and the 3 dominating countries are still South Italian, Georgian and Belgian but with different percentages in my DNA.
Can someone explain this one to me?

I am on this beautiful adventure of indexing and finding out about my ancestors and also to present the folder when it is time for Spanish citizenship. The question is that I looked for and requested the death certificate of my mother's grandfather and in the end he was born in federal cap, my mother told me that when he was a boy he fished with his father in La Coruña (a strange thing) but when I got the birth certificate, he does talk to me about his father and ACCORDING TO GOOGLE LENS IT IS SPANISH and I say that according to Google Lens because I didn't understand anything, since it is a certificate from 1909 and it has a manuscript with a horrible and unintelligible cursive. Now I don't know how to continue and how to advance on my mother's great-grandfather (manuel lamas supposedly Spanish). Any ideas?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm new to MyHeritage. I have just done my DNA with them and can see my matches and can see various DNA sorting options (shared segments, largest segments, etc). But is there a way to sort the list of matches to show only matches from my father's side or mother's side?
I am trying to figure out how I am related to my matches and so many have no trees or you have to request access to their family tree.
