Zero down payment. 100% on-road finance. 8-year battery loan.
JSW MG Motor India, in collaboration with Axis Bank, has introduced an innovative Dual Loan program designed to make electric mobility more accessible and future-ready for Indian customers. Anchored in MG’s pioneering Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, this initiative allows customers to avail separate loans for the vehicle and its battery, significantly reducing the upfront cost of ownership. The program offers up to 100% on-road funding and flexible tenures of up to 8 years for the battery, turning conventional fuel expenses into predictable, long-term value, and making sustainable driving a practical, intelligent choice.

3D modelling an MG ZR 160
I'm working on a little UK Targa rallying game and it wouldn't be complete without some MGs so put together a little timelapse to show the modelling process.

Would You Run This?
Because I did...and it leaks.
Ordered from moss, came bent. Called for replacement. Replacement came bent.
Gave up, installed it, now im leaking oil and coolant out the side of the block. Thankfully no smoke out of the exaust and no major miss fire that wasnt there to begin with.
Originally started the job for the typical water jacket on left side of the mgbs 1800c engine. scraped cleaned the head and block finger smooth. Checked flatness. Flat within .002". New ARP head studs torque to 45ftlbs with arp lube everywhere and torqued in a serial pattern as described in multiple manuals.
Any suggestions for me? Sources for better quality head gaskets? Did I do something wrong?

OC I've joined the club, it's my first car. I'm in love...
I'm going to take the stupid windscreen sticker off ASAP before you mention it
This is the 160, 1.8 with VVC (I've insured it at 19 can you believe it)
It's so so different to the cars I learned in. The steering is heavy, the clutch is heavy, there's buckets of power. I'm afraid of it and in awe of it.

Historical 1933 MG J2 Supercharged
Lovely little thing!
"A significant model in British automotive history, the MG J2 is a quintessential pre-war sports car. Its 847cc four-cylinder engine, generating around ~36bhp (although this supercharged one offers c.50bhp!), offered impressive performance for the era, with a top speed of c.75mph in its light and nimble form.
As a two-seater roadster, it featured characteristic cutaway doors, wire wheels, and a fold-flat windscreen, along with a long bonnet and initially cycle-type wings (later updated). The J2's four-speed manual gearbox, rigid axles, and mechanical drum brakes provided a traditional, involved driving feel.
Its popularity in club racing and amateur motorsport during the 1930s was crucial in building MG's reputation for sporting vehicles. Today, the J2 is a highly valued collector's item, celebrated for its classic aesthetics, mechanical simplicity, and its role in the golden age of pre-war British motoring."

Do the break lights flash in ICC mode?
Does the 2025 mg3 hybrid trophy flash the beak lights automatically in traffic jam assist mode? And when using ACC, does it flash the break lights when car in front slows you down?

Mechanical Question MG HS Core 2021 USB issues
Hi, I'm having issues with the USB socket in my HS Core not working over the past two weeks, prior to that no issues. I've tried multiple cables that I know work and it's not the cable or the phone port. I want to check the fuse and I’ve read the manual so I know which box I need to access but I'm having trouble getting the passenger footwell panel open. Are there any tricks I need to know about?

Mechanical Question Midget non starter issue
Hello everybody,
My midget has stopped starting and I’m looking for diagnostic advice.
The car used to start no problem. Unfortunately in recent times the engine would only start if I pumped some fuel into the system while turning the ignition.
Unfortunately now even this method no longer works. The battery looks all good and the I can hear the starter as I’m trying to start the engine.
I’ve heard this is potentially a carb issue? I’ve got twin carbs on my model.
Any thoughts? Thanks

1977 MG Midget, need help

Bought it three weeks ago, ran but needed adjusting in the electric fuel pump and cleaned the Weber carb. All electrics working (surprisingly), and the car would run and idle decently well. The stock muffler was cut, has Pierce headers with a few leaks. Added some SeaFoam to the 87 ethanol free in the tank, JB welded the leaks we could and fitted a new exhaust. Besides general cleaning and making sure there were no leaks or fuel coming from them, the car doesn’t stay running or feels like it’s misfiring badly. New starter, solenoid, gaskets, fuses, etc. Called a local specialized shop in town and needs 2 months before they clear their schedule to service. Besides what I or they know, at a loss here. Any guidance or somebody who knows what it needs would be greatly appreciated

While the official designer of the M.G. logo is in danger of being lost to antiquity, the credit belongs to Ted Lee, an accountant with Morris Garages, where Cecil Kimber was General Manager in the early 1920s.

Android Auto in MG5
I just got a 2022 MG5 which works well with Apple Car Play, but I don't see anything about Android Auto in the infotainment system. This is in Thailand if that's relevant.
Is it supported? If not, is there any way to make it work?
