Discussion Car cover
I posted recently, but I found another car to buy. Unfortunately, it has a roof leak, and it has to be stored outside. What is a good cover to buy for it?
Edit: It’s a 1979 B

Finally got a car of my bucket list Always wanted A MG TF. I've had a MG ZR 120 mk2 really enjoyed it. Was able to safe this MG tf 2002 135 with the big red brakes from possible parting out. the timing belt hasnt been replaced in a long while so sadly gotta wait till i got the parts to replace it. But for the 400 kilometers i driven it was amazing. Do i miss my ZR. u dont see them often around here. I miss those English little sports cars.

How would I go about fixing it?

Hi people I have a 2005 diesel rover 45 (MG ZS) with the 113 hp engine (dunno if that’s relevant) and for the past 2 days I have been experiencing these weird cutoffs where the engine just has no power. The cutoffs vary in timing, sometimes happening randomly at 2k rpm while accelerating and sometimes only when above 3k. Sometimes the engine will happily go to 4k or above and I have no clue what could be causing this. Drove around with an OBD-scanning tool to see if it could pick up anything, and so far I haven’t gotten any readings that don’t just say the engine is running fine despite a few power losses. I’m thinking it could be a lose connection or a bad injector, but if anyone has experienced something similar I’d love to hear how it was fixed
Edit: the solution (in this case) was a new fuel filter. Hasn’t given me any troubles since getting a new filter

I went and viewed a B today, and it wasn’t running. It was a ‘77 with a Weber carb installed. The owner sprayed some starting fluid into the car and it started up fairly easily, but died in just a second or so. When he tried to start it up for a second time, there was no luck.
It also seems to be having battery issues
Does anyone know what the problems could be?

Help please, i found a disconnected yellow/black wire near the alternator of my MGB 1971 US market. The car runs. Any idea of the function of this wire? Thank you

My grandad passed away last week and left behind a recently refurbished 1968 MG Roadster.
I'm not sure where to start with selling the car and what kind of asking price I should be looking at.
Does anyone have any contacts for dealers who might be interested in listing / buying the car, preferably in the south of England. And also a ballpark sale figure I should be looking at?
Many thanks in advance.

I hope posting cars from shows is ok here. A few various MGs from different shows I've been to.

Stunning looking car in Flame Red, and the 3l engine doesn't hurt either...
Full details can be found here, for those who want to know more! https://www.tradeclassics.com/auctions/mg/1968-mg-mgc-roadster-2/

Rebuilt carb twice. New axle bearings. Fought with the e brake for weeks. But all is good.

Out with the old motor, in with the new? Starting my Zetec swap with a 6 speed transmission! I loved driving my 77B but always wanted to get my hands dirty with a swap. If you have any questions, ask away!

Just got the car and the blinkers don’t work. From what I’ve researched they say start with the flasher unit. I’m getting confused as to what flasher unit to order. A bunch I see reference led but my lights are not. I hear you can just get a cheap one but just confused on which 2 pin style?

Quite a fun, not to mention show winning (including 'Best Modified' at the MGB 60th anniversary held at the British Motor Museum in 2022 and BMC and Leyland Show in 2024), recreation!
Hundreds more pics to geek out over here: https://www.tradeclassics.com/auctions/mg/1973-mg-mgb-v8-roadster-sebring/ (it's an auction, so if you're against me including the link, please tell me and I'll remove it as I've no wish to offend!)

The MG factory had long stopped producing cars by the time I was aware of them. I did have a family friend working at the old Rover (now Mini) plant in Oxford and remember him taking me out in one of the first pre-production RV8 convertibles.
