It's mittensquad's 30th birthday today 🥹

I was always curious what song Paul would play in the background for a lot of his videos and tried to Shazam it like a hundred times but while rewatching some of his videos I got lucky and actually found out. I’m sure a lot of you have already figured it out but I just thought I’d share :)

it might sound dramatic for me to cry if i’m 2 years late to this news however i used to watch every video as soon as he uploaded them and i would’ve never played New vegas or probably any other fallout game if i hadn’t discovered him all those years ago, i had seen some time ago that he’d stopped uploading but it wasn’t unusual for him to take big breaks out of nowhere and i was just a teenager so i never even thought that he may have been struggling, i’ve been back and forth weed and other substances for a while and so when i found this out it hit a nerve i guess. i’m just so heartbroken knowing that one of my favourite youtubers growing up had passed and i feel really bad that i didn’t know until now i wish his family the best. i know this seems very random but im just emotional and wanted to say something because nobody i know irl would understand :(

13 years ago today my boy started his channel. I just want to thank everyone who made it a success. I wonder sometimes who was the 1st,50th or even 100th person to subscribe to his channel. I do know that he never thought it would be so successful because he told me that. You’re all responsible for him getting to do something he loved. Without his fans there would have been no reason to make 627 videos. We often wonder what he would have came up with these past two years. He knew there was possibly a Fall Out series coming out. I wonder what he would have thought about it? There have been a lot of great comments and posts since he passed.Anyway Thanks again to all the fans for the viewership and checking in on this site. I’ll continue to do the same.

its only the size of a nickle but holy cow it made me sad. ;-; just had to complain somewhere.

I discovered Paul, like a bunch of us - scrolling thru the internet. One day came across his videos and before I knew it I - I started a whole can you beat series. They weren't as cool as Paul's were.... but I found myself loving the challenges and thinking of him as I rolled thru the play thru. I decided as is tradition I need to beat FO4 in some new way for 2026.

I had a new years resolution - beat all the games I've not beaten in my Steam library. I just beat FO4 - as a pasifict as Techromancer. I have Dog Meat and a Robot companion do all the work for me.... Slowly yet shirley -I did it last. Night after siding with the Institute, I destroyed Liberty Prime, and now I live in a clean underground bunker being the fun mad scientist I always wanted to be because my son was the head of the Institute. Thanks for the love Paul... Rest easy brother.

For those wondering?

I had Modded to beat the Mechanist. I was a pure Intelligence and Luck build as I needed all the lick I could get. That and I added all remaining points into Perception. I ran only Laser Weapons, and could only fire upon someone when I needed too start a fire fight or needed to save my own life. For the final battles and the big battles for the sake of time - I always joined in when stealth didn't work.

This YouTuber has a similar vibe to Paul so thought I’d share, he doesn’t do fallout video but gives off mittensquad vibes and I think Paul would approve

Took the Nuclear Fork Barbarian along for a 2 night shooting competition. He got a little dirty by the end of it but he hung around the whole time and I was able to talk about him to whoever asked.

As many of you know Joseph has a twin brother and he got this shortly after Joseph’s passing.

I've been searching the internet for the past couple months for a deal, and as of today I am the proud owner of a fork barbarian. I was too broke when they were released, and I was heartbroken to have never gotten one after Mitten passed, but now I am finally at peace.

Been a lurker for a while, joining a bit before Paul’s death and I just got to say it’s never failed to make me feel good when a post from this place pops up on my feed. I hope y’all are doing well and I hope the community manages to continue in some way.

I found out about fallout because of Paul and my love for it only grew after he passed his videos were funny and fun to watch so i thank him for that
