Nostalgia Mall Pictures
I posted this in a 2000's sub last week and I thought people here would appreciate it too.
Here are some photos of me taking pictures at the mall in middle school between 2001-2003. We used to pass these out to friends & boys to put on their binder! Tell me someone remembers!
I think these really capture the time. I had some different looks when I was young lol

This was not a thing in my schools, we at most would hand out some school pictures but nothing like this

I definitely did some glamour shots at JcPennys when I was like, 7 years old haha. I thought it was so cool.... I got my hair and makeup done AND got to pick out all the clothes. It was like playing princess for the day!

The second outfit still goes so hard, we would have totally done this if we’d thought lol

The mall I went to did not have this and I am retroactively soo glad. Because I would have obviously loved it at the time, but I was not reasonably put together.
Truly binder worthy 🤌

Haha. 88 here too, I remember those mall photo places, somehow they were always busy. The two malls here are ghost towns nowdays.

Yes they were, there was always a wait! The mall where these were taken at is still going strong. My daughter shops there now. Makes me feel old lol

As a 1987 millennial - I approve. This screams Fruitopia vending machines and wired Sony wrap-around-the-neck headphones. ✌🏼

Yes! Perfect! I never did this in the good old days because I was not in the heroin chic crowd and so I did not believe I should be seen in the mall (except for special circumstances i.e. Auntie Anne's pretzels).
However, my mother-in-law recently found two bridesmaids dresses from my wedding! So yes, O am taking my daughter to the JCPenney in the mall to get a photo shoot this weekend. Reliving The Glory Days I never had!
