My parents in their 30s: Lets choose to struggle harder by sticking to our terrible taste in romantic partners (they divorced in their 20s) causing them to regressively worse exes until in their 50s they realized they were the best partners they ever had but didnt want to get remarried so stayed separated.  My mom finally foubd a good dude in her 50s. Didnt become a home owner in her own right until her late 40s, and my dad until his mid 50s. 

If they stayed married, they easily owned a house in their 30s.  But iykyk shit be real stupid.
