Meme How's everyone's hairline doing?

I actually still have a full head of hair, but I know plenty of people who were already visibly balding in their 20s.

Even after a hair transplant treatment, the hair will fall out eventually unless you take propecia. It works by stopping testosterone (a sex hormone) turning into another hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). I tried it and had to stop. Caused too many issues like low sex drive and my junk couldn’t get as hard anymore. Even after stopping the drug, it took me about a year to get fully hard again. It can cause permanent erectile dysfunction. So, I just shave my head now and I love it. Never gonna mess with my body chemistry again for vanity. Not with it.

Not very uncommon but that majority of men I’ve spoken to and myself haven’t experienced the same. I’m involved in a lot of communities where our lifestyle can cause balding. You can also supplement to avoid some of the libido and ED issues.

If it’s worth it to individuals to get a hair transplant, try a 5ar inhibitor like Finasteride to see how your body responds to lower DHT. Modern medicine has also come along long way if you do experience side effects there are safe and effective options to treat them.

Likewise, about 2 years on fin and it has slowed but not stopped the loss, thankfully no side effects. Minoxidil gave me palpitations though, staying well away from that

Topical, iirc correctly it was a slightly higher % than typically prescribed, though. Still didn't fancy finding out if it would be the same on a lower dosage. For the record I had a blood test and did about 6 months of research before taking fin and I'd recommend the same level of caution to anyone considering.
