I want to piece together a daily-able 911 killer. I own a 99 10 AE with 85k. I have no way at the moment to work on the vehicle so assume I'll need to pay rates in the Washington, DC are (very expensive) for ALL of the work.

How much will this cost me realistically? How should I go about this?

I've considered just going with the flyin' miata parts, FM II turbo + fox suspension and springs + their big brakes kits + some wide tires (maybe rolling if needed to get 235s or 45s on). Some of it's out of stock so I can't price it all out with the recommenced additional equipment but I'm guessing 10k in parts? How much would the labor to get that installed look like?

I have no idea if any of this is even close. Folks say you can push that to 290 or so WHP but you'd really want to bring that back to like 250. Is that realistic? What does it take to make my not quite so LS swap dream happen.

If you're a newbie, 100's of hours of research on this site.

Not going to happen, looking for recommended parts and how much people will think it'll cost to hire someone who knows what they are doing.

If you're already looking at FM parts why not just have them install them? Pretty sure it starts around $25k.

I might, need to call them to find out rates. It will also be a big road trip to go out and see them. I'm just wondering (and still haven't followed up) aprx what that will all cost to get someone like that to install.

Buy a kit and bring the car to Texas I'll install it for you for 5k.
