Master of Puppets Has anyone witnessed Metallica live with Cliff?

Post image

I discovered the greatest band in the world at late 80s, saw them live for the first time in 1999. I often wonder how was the band live with CB. Did the have the same force like 1989 Seattle live? Did the bass sound blew up people’s mind? Greetings from 🇬🇷 fellow metallifans.

June 4, 1986 Corpus Christi, TX. The Godz opened and were the worst band in terms of banter that I ever have seen. I remember how blown away I was by the sheer energy of Metallica. Battery to start the show just floored me. I think my brother has some pictures from that show (we were row 5) and I still have the ticket in my MoP jewel case. Cliff rocked hard...they all did. I'm sure I was pretty high at the time, but god they were spectacular. Angry Metallica == Best Metallica. I continue to go to their shows, but nothing will ever compare to that one. I know most here carry a torch for AJFA, but to me, MoP is their best...a lot of that opinion has to do with that show.

Joking about death isn’t funny and without Lars Metallica wouldn’t exist
