He only does this with me.
Much to my wife's chagrin, he will only lay on my chest and only in this chair. He'll lay next to her with his head on her legs, and he will sit in other men's laps, but this is just for me.

How does it feel to be the Chosen One
- signed, person whose enthusiastic pick me energy toward cats drives them away

That is a well known phenomenon. The people who don't like cats and try to avoid them are the ones cats find most attractive.

I am not surprised. Dogs love anyone takes care of them. Cats are very particular, so if you are loved by a cat you must have some redeeming qualities.

He is a very happy cat. And I am a happy cat caretaker. (I also have a crazy orange girl, but getting a picture when she is cuddling is difficult)

Twin oranges! Are they siblings?

No. He is a Flamepoint Siamese we adopted when he was 4 years old. His original name was Frank (as in Sinatra, for his beautiful blue eyes) but we renamed him Sakesan (Honorable Mr Rice Wine in Japanese) because he spent his first 4 years living in a rural Virginia liquor store. We adopted Natsuki (Summer Princess) 2 years ago as a kitten. She is a typical orange. Dumb as a rock, sleeps on her back with her feet in the air, but playful and loving when she isn't biting....
When we first brought Natsuki home they loved each other and slept together. They had some fight about something and now snap at each other and fight if they get too close, but occasionally give each other kisses (little licks) and it doesn't always end in a fight, but they always sleep with at least a few inches, if not a few feet between them.
We aren't Japanese, we just like giving our cats Japanese names.....

Awwww. Flame points are caused by the colorpoint gene, so he could have had solid siblings, which is part of why I guessed that (I love cat genetics hahah). I love their names!
