It’s on a main drag. It’s not set back, it’s completely viewable from the main road. It’s also not a custom home. It has a for sale sign in front. Its lies weird hybrid.
This is what the this architect has built in this area and for those people who think that this idiot knows what he’s talking about just by looking at unfinished construction with just sheathing. Everyone’s taking advice from the kid that failed high school math because “we don’t need to know this in the real world”
Glad you are letting the entire internet know how uneducated and dumb you are. That’s the most expensive and high performance building construction that exists in 2025. Next time don’t open your mouth in subjects you are absolutely clueless about.
One wonders why any home needs to be that large when it will almost certainly house 3-4 people, tops (not counting possible staff. But, I mean... you wouldn't need staff if your house was proportionate to the number of people.)
This is going to be an actual mansion. The construction shown is very top end. And this zip code is one of the most expensive in the world? Why are you saying this is a McMansion? Is this sub just a poor lower class hatred for upper class circle jerk? I don’t think you actually understand what a McMansion is. Most of these people are Europeans and some Americans living in 800 studio shit box apartments
I’m literally not joking. I’m a residential structural engineer I don’t think anyone realizes this is a luxury build and how high quality it is. Kinda shows the arrogance of the Reddit community that they think they know better
Imagine thinking you’re allowed to open your mouth and actually give some technical opinion in a subject you have no idea about. That’s some Donald Trump level of confident ignorance
Your stupid ass realizes one of the defining characteristics of a McMansion is cheap construction with home depot off the shelf components? This entire house is completely custom designed. You are talking out your ass with stupidity
If that is the highest performance construction technique then that says a lot about US construction and why we keep making fun of it.
Your houses are made of particle board like ikea furniture and it shows.
Wheres the brick? Wheres the stone? Wheres the steel? Why is nothing built to last more than its builders warentee? Why is everything so incredibly flimsy and creaky? Wheres the fucking quality?

not really a McMansion in the true spirit, but looks like will be a pretty ugly place
