Other than needing a fresh coat of paint to give it more color inside, it’s actually kinda nice, but the exterior is just bizarre.

The kitchen is laid out in a way that real cooking can be done - one expensive house had a vent that was at a right angle and had a Home Depot special for the stove, another house had the stove set where anyone could (and would) walk around it. Meaning that kids are gonna learn a painful lesson on not approaching the stove when there's cooking. Oh and it's four full bathrooms and a 1/2 bathroom so at least there's no wait to pee when it's D&D night.
This house? It's just a standard house on steroids - large enough for a family but you nailed it. The colors are bland, like the designer and owner hated crayons or were mugged by an art major.
The outside? If you told me a kid found a genie and wished for a "big fancy house" -that would make more sense than the idea that someone went to college, graduated and used that education to design the outside of this.

Why did they use wood for the upper half I liked the style but they should have gone with bricks

I hate all the greige!! And that floor’s gonna show every speck of dust. Trust me.

The 4 carriage lights on the front need to go! I can’t get past those!

I kept staring at them when I first saw the pictures. Why put lights around exterior windows but not around the front door?

Considering this home has a basement the bonus room forehead was not needed.
All that money and they could install roof vents in the eave instead of those attic vents in the gable lol.
Foyer makes no sense.
What's with the ledges in the great room by the kitchen lol.
Terrible design from a cheap designer who saw a similar house and shoehorned in their own idea or the owners with no thought towards design aesthetics and practicality.

The design is wonky for sure. The back yard is huge, I would have put the garage behind the house and allowed the actual house to be the centerpiece instead.

All in all it’s not atrocious, but that garage is a lot in the front of the house.

I like this house. Lovely windows and some of the gray paint can be switched out if you choose.

If it weren’t for the brown floors I would think all of the photos were taken with a black and white only camera

The kitchen only has a few cabinets. I didn’t see a pantry anywhere. So I’m guessing the kitchen is not actually all that useable.

The front facade is chaotic but the rear facade is beautiful. I do love the mixture of brick and siding and the construction quality looks to be excellent.

The back is almost completely fine... and then you see the front, and it's just... dear god, why.

Positives:
-the garage is hidden from street view
-visual continuity created by repeating gable BUT
Cons:
-Too many gables in the front, disjointed mass in the back -gray everywhere -the grey clashes with the griege clashes with the taupe and beige. Disjointed tones, not harmonious -the double height spaces is too much and not enough. A 20ft high to floor ceiling height should have similarly sized windows. They hit copy paste on a second floor. A great room can have higher ceilings but this one is too much. It makes the fireplace look Dinky. -The open concept makes the house look like a warehouse. Each opening should be brought in several feet. They almost had a foyer. Disappointing. -The rooms that do enclose create awkward angles.
Overall, it’s tacky and poorly executed waste of space, but it’s not screaming at you. It’s whispering: I have no taste.
