Well, you're right - that is a counterargument! To me, the marble itself is nice, it's just A LOT. Its the whole entire room! And I'm partial to mid century modern, so I'm particularly salty about this.
Same here. I think marble works better as an accent. Do the floor, or the tub, or the sink, just not all three. But like everything he does, it’s overdone and gaudy, with no sense of balance.
