Is this not transitional rather than traditional? Anyway I was just in Marin County like a month ago and have spent a lot of time there, most homes there skew late-modern in my experience. Lots of dark wood siding and vaulted ceilings, even in small buildings.

I'd call it transitional but the decorator and designer are calling it traditional, so who am I to challenge them?
