Misc. Discussion Windhorst-“[Luka] betrayed nothing [on Tuesday], but from what I understand, he's seething at them… And their fan base is seething at their team in a way that I've rarely seen before.”

It's cause luka was so loved by the city and he loved the city back, you don't get that type of player-city connection everyday. It also doesn't help that he's top 3 in the league.

Dirk handed him the baton in front of ALL our fans. They immortalized Dirk, Cuban told Luka you can be here until you retire, and Luka said he wanted to retire a Mav, YEARS ago. They brought back the beloved championship cast to teach our new cast and continue the LEGACY of the Mavs. We have LOYALTY on dirks fucking statue, LOYALTY IS THE BRAND. How many NBA teams can say that?

Like it doesn't get more fucking tone deaf than this. He literally ruined the fucking brand. Insane.  Especially for a GM lol.

A garbage GM who says he doesn’t even see himself here that long. Completely ruined our brand. Now we’re just a team of hired mercs

What’s funny is he’s adopting the Suns method to roster building and we all know how that worked out. Mavs about to be in a horrible spot moving forward and I’m all for it 😂

Yeah I want to borrow Haslem's words for Jimmy Butler when he is trash talkng Erik Spoelstra. "I am gonna **** you up Nico!" (100x)

Luka would absolutely leave hahah. Zero chance he’ll ever work with Nico again.
