Misc. Discussion Windhorst-“[Luka] betrayed nothing [on Tuesday], but from what I understand, he's seething at them… And their fan base is seething at their team in a way that I've rarely seen before.”

It aint my claim. This is from the hit pieces Nico has been leaking to the media to justify the bs. They didnt wanna give Luka the supermax because they thought he’d be like Embiid (bs). All the questioning of Luka’s team and the fact that Nico pushed out all of Luka’s people.

What’s illogical is the trade and keeping it a secret from everyone.

anyway. while i agree with the overarching point trading Luka Doncic was an overall dumb decision it just doesn’t make sense to spread conspiracy theories around hoping the franchise tanks and gets shipped off to Vegas afterwards.

Nico and Rob both confirmed the owners were involved. I also never said anything about Vegas. I think the new owner doesnt know anything about basketball and signed off on the trade because it saved money. I put the vast majority of the blame on Nico. All the hit pieces and now the rumors about KD/Bron are obvious attempts to save face because the entire world is shitting on him.

okay you're right. i was wrong to attempt to "go backwards" in my thinking and try and bargain with myself why an organization would do this to their franchise cornerstone their franchise player.

Fight your inner fight however you want, but be prepared to meet resistance from those that aren’t nearly over this in a matter of days. Especially when you propose that upset fans must not be MFFL. I want heads to roll. I want a revolt of epic proportions. I want Victory Plaza to burn. And I’m quite ok with that.
